In order to identify our church as Biblical in theology and evangelical in spirit, we have set forth the following statement of faith:
A. Concerning God:
1. The Holy Godhead: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:6, First Timothy 2:3-7, Jude 20-21)
2. Christ our Redeemer: We believe in both the deity and the humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present intercessory work, and in His future return in power and glory.(John 1:1-14, First Corinthians 15:1-20, First Timothy 3:16)
3. The Holy Spirit our Sustainer: We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful men.
(First Corinthians 12:3, Ephesians 1:13-14, Titus 3:5-7)
B. Concerning the Church:
1. The Empowerment of the Church: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a godly life.
(John 14:15-16, 26, Ephesians 5:18-20, Galatians 5:22-24)
2. The Vitality of the Church: We believe that the church - which is presently the Body and shall be the Bride of Christ - is a spiritual organism made up of all believers irrespective of their affiliations with Christian organizations.
(Matthew 16:18, Romans 12:5, Ephesians 1:22-23)
3. The Destiny of the Church: We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they who are saved to the resurrection life, and they who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
(John 14:1-6, I Corinthians 15:51-58, Revelation 20:14-15)
C. Concerning the Bible:
1. Special Revelation: We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
(Luke 24:44-49, II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21)
